I went to our local anime convention again this year, like I have been doing for the past 2 years with my good friend Suzy. I normally buy a weekend pass and let my sister use it (sssshhhhhh) when I'm done going to the con but this year, my family went to NYC for a few days so I'm the only one going.

Ok, it's been forever since I've done one of my real posts where I take pictures of my kawaii instead of just being lazy and screen capping all the newest kawaii goods. I went to Otakuthon, our local anime convention with my friend Suzy back in August. It was my first time attending last year and to be honest, I only went for the shopping. This year, I went exclusively for the shopping.

I didn't buy much as I had set a budget for myself. When I shopped uninhibited last year, I spent about $200 ⊙０⊙. It included the entrance fee of $30 but still, that's a ton of money. Worse part? I forgot about most of my purchases until I dug it up several months later.

I had set a budget of $100 and this is what I got for $75 (omg my budgeting and self-restraint skills worked for once).

It's been a while and I apologize again for not updating ＼(-___________-;)／. CMA has started again and I just experienced working with my new team. It was...bad. One of our team members was pulled out two days before the assignment was due (he failed the rewrite and just got the results), another team member was getting married so he was MIA but did finish his part on time, another never showed up to the meetings or responded to emails and the last one would rather do her crossfit workouts than be readily available for any additional work.

I stupidly volunteered to put the assignment together and completed all the other parts of the report that no one did (which pretty comprised of 50% of the report). I asked them to help out but it would take them over a day to respond and I would have to wait for them to finish. But I'm going to make sure we're more organized and responsive for the next assignment because I'm not dealing with this crap for a whole year and because my passing is on the line as well (we pass or fail as a group for the final report).

Anyway, enough with the complaining, onwards with the (creepy) kawaii!

japan exclusive kawaii

I've been meaning to make a post about this (and tons of other things) but this package arrived right before my CMA exam. I didn't even open it until a few days after I received it and I only opened it and glanced at every thing, didn't even enjoy them 【・ヘ・】

When my exam was over, a bunch of other things started arriving and new colletions were released, not to mention the weather outside started to get ugly so it offered terrible lighting for my pictures. All these factors caused this belated post. The sun finally showed itself long enough for me to snap some pictures this weekend. I give you my Japan Exclusive Goodies!

pokemon love

my love and obsession for pokemon has been renewed and it's all this post. so immense is my love for this old school game, i went on ebay and actually checked out what plushies they had for sale (by pokemon center, obvs) AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH THREE OF THEM! i must have them! i previously bought a wooper one because it was kind of cute and then my dog bite off one of its arms....but it has character now.

i used to have a pikachu one (because which kid didn't), a snorlax, charizard, and...CLEFAIRY!!!! except i have clue where the hell why went. probably donated like all my other awesome stuff which i didn't mean to donate. i hate it when that happens. actually, it only happened once. i was so tired of having so much shit, that i just decided to screw looking through all the garbage bags of goodies (i litereally had like 10) and just gave it all away. and as a way to torment me, i'm suddently remembering all this shit that i DIDN'T want to donate. life is so cruel.

thank god, i still my squirtle, even though i don't like squirtle at all. an ugly pokemon is still a pokemon and since i love pokemon, i must tolerate squirtle.

i actually placed a bid on of the ebay plushies BUT i won't say which one, in case someone actually reads this and is a pokemon fan and happens to like the same plushie and OUTBIDS ME!

.....i think i'm going to go ferret my old pokemon games out and play them now.
