arpakassos + nemunekos for sale

This is going to be a selling post. I don't have time to make a proper post since I've been extremely busy lately and I'm really behind on my studying. One event keeps happening after another and it's taking a toll on me physically and emotionally. Hopefully, I'll be able to forget the problems plaguing my loved ones long enough for me to enjoy the wedding tomorrow (and the finishing of my CMA review)!

Cuties all for sale!

Adopt me and my mousey friend!

Arpakassos for sale! You know you want them! Side note: I'm really pleased with how this picture turned out.

Baby arpakassos for sale!

As always, it kills me to sell them but my trip is looming overhead and they're invading my room (basement and spare room). If interested, leave your contact information in the comments section. Thanks for looking and happy shopping!

kawaii mail haul

Despite not acing my Strategy & Competition quiz this morning, it turned out to be an awesome day! I got home at 10:30 AM (which is unheard of since I normally finish class at 10 AM). Two packages of kawaii have arrived throughout the day while I was trying to finish my huge paper. So....obviously I took a break to rip open the parcels, take pictures, then make a blog post XD.

Kawaii Mail!

This first package was from Yumi, who is the sweetest and kindest seller ever. She's extremely nice and very quick to reply to her e-mails! I'll definitely be buying from her again. Thanks to Mary for recommending her :)

First Package From Japan.

I was actually surprised at how quickly it arrived, or maybe I just expected it to take forever. But I think she shipped it out a week and a half ago? I think time just passed by really quickly and I didn't even notice it so it seemed like it didn't take long. I don't know.

Kawaii Goodies From Yumi - usazukins, arpakassos, kiiroitoris!

She packaged everything really nicely and she even included a little letter and some freebies! Freebies are always a nice bonus :). Her note was really cute and it even had some of her drawings around it.

Ribbon Lace and Cotton Candy Arpakassos

Of course, I had to get some arpakassos!!! I especially love the two cotton candy ones, which are the mint green and purple one, both with their adorable bows. Unfornatuntely, the green one looks a little derpy but at least I got my hands on one! The pink is beautiful, with a lace necklace, very elegant and of course, who can resist the two ribbon ones?

Cute little bows on their backs.

Keychain and Mascot Bow Tie Kiiroitoris

Next are the two Bow Tie Kiiroitoris. Aren't they precious? They're super soft too! I realize how silly it is to get two of the same plush but look at them! I've also decided to sell one of them but I can't decide which one! The smaller one is rounder but the bigger one is more cuddly! What's funny is that the larger one is actually a keychain, how weird! Which one should I keep?!

Various Kiiroitoris All Standing in a Row, by size.

Look at them, standing next to each other in increasing height. Doesn't it just make you want to die from cuteness? Except don't, because I can't afford to be sued right now, or ever. There's the fuzzy keychain, the fan yielding Kiiroitoi, devil Kiiroitori and victorious ice cream Kiiroitori! Hard to decide which one's my favourite though, since they're all so round, pudgy and cute! Make me want to squeeeeeeze them.

Little Devil Tail

Two Adorable Usazukins, one teddy and one rabbit.

I didn't expect the rabbit usazukin to be as soft as it is, I don't know what's up with me, if I have low expectations for kawaii plushies or what, but I'm always so impressed with how soft plushies can be! I notice that I'm always rambling on about the softness of it. I like soft things :D. Anyway, the rabbit is super cute, the button attached to it even says, "I <3 Usazukin!" and how they not love themselves when they look as cute as that? The bear is adorable too but not nearly as soft as the rabbit. I have a larger version of it :)

The tags are too cute! Doesn't the chick remind you of Kiiroitori?

My First Kireizukin Seikatu Plush

I actually really like this character, Kireizukin Seikatu. I don't think he (or is it she?) is really popular but I find it really endearing. I mean, it's always doing housework! I need to find myself a raccoon like that. This is my first plush of this character and it doesn't look like it in the picture, but it's actually pretty big. What I like even more about this is the fact that it's holding a macaroon! I guess everyone needs a little coffee break from cleaning :)

I seriously have an obsession with tails but just look at it!

Monster Hunter (?) Piggy!

Last but not least is the freebie! I think this adorable pig is from Monster Hunter but I can't be entirely sure. But who cares, it's cute and IT'S WEARING SHORTS!!! Or boxers? Same thing, in essence.

I have to get back to my paper now, I'm almost done but it's the fine details that I have to finish, which are always the most tedious parts. Oh, and I 'm feeling much better now, although still not 100%. I'm hoping that I'll be fully recovered by tomorrow!

huge kawaii post

After all that negativity about that shop, it's time for a happy post! And what better way to make things better than KAWAII THINGS! Woooooo!

I finally took pictures of my kawaii Christmas presents. Although I forgot to take one of my 3DS (>_<). I also forgot to take pictures of the awesome presents that my sister got me from her trip to Alberta. I guess I'll have to take those pictures the same time I show off my 3DS.

Christmas presents from my sister.

Let's start with my Christmas presents. My sister got me all these adorable plushes from Japan. I had asked my friend (and mostly buyer) from Japan to look for these plushes for me and she managed to find them all! She threw in the white frog, called Tsuginohi Kerori (Tomorrow Frog) as a Christmas gift for me. She's a really sweet person as this isn't the first time that she went off to look for things to fulfill my endless kawaii addiction. The story with Tsuginohi Kerori is that he is actually white but when he's sad, or sick, he turns green. Once he's happy or feeling better again, he resumes his normal white colour. Only San-x can think of characters like that.

Happy, normal Tsuginohi Kerori.

Sad or sick Tsuginohi Kerori.

The two bunnies dressed in costumes and the bear dressed...as a bear, are called usazukins. They basically dress up as adorable animals. That's all I know about them and I think they're uncommon. Not totally sure about that though. Either way, they're super cute!

Then there's grandfather Kapibara-san! I absolutely love the Kapibara-san series, they're too adorable and what's cuter than an old Kapibara? I find Granpa Kapi especially endearing and cute with his white eyebrows and little white mustache. For some reason, he reminds me of my grandfather, who sadly passed away a year ago. I don't know why it reminds me of him, since he neither had white hair nor a mustache.

Grandpa Kapi bringing Christmas presents to all the good kiddies....or just me!

Then, there's the gift from my sister's boyfriend. He bought me a set of limited edition sanrio plushies. These plushes were released for Sanrio's 50th anniversary. I totally love the packaging of it!

Set came with a My Meloday, Hello Kitty, Chococat and Keroppi plush. Too cute!

Next comes one of Alex's gifts, it was a really cute dinosaur pouch that I've had my eye on for a while. I was really surprised that he got it for him since I had mentioned that it would be perfect for my camera (hint hint nudge nudge) but he usually doesn't pick up on these things. What was even more surprising was that he copied and sent the link to himself so that he could remember where to buy it. As I previously mentioned, he usually fails to pick up these things or he just chooses to ignore my "This is so cute! (therefore I want it)" comments.

The "To Dial For Media Case in Dino Miss."

Cute suggestions for use on the back.

Has a cute little pouch on the back of it as well.

On the day that my sister came back from Alberta, one of the huge kawaii purchases that I bought before my New Year Resolutions came into effect arrived! I was surprised at how quick it came, it arrived two days after the seller shipped them and she lived in New York!

This adorable kitty onigri plush was too cute and unsual for me to pass up! I had never seen it before and although I'm not a big fan of cats, it's kawaii had worked it magic on me. It was bigger than I thought it'd be, which is always good (more value for your money!).

It has a shrimp tempura on its head.

Japanese characters on its butt. I don't know what it says though.

The next items are called usadangos. I previously made a post about them. I had been looking for them everywhere and they're really impossible to find so image my reaction when I found this shop that had them.

Obviously, I had to get the whole set.

I also purchased two furry Hannari Tofu plushes. They're smaller than the regular ones but they were too cute to resist. Alex had bought me two for Christmas a few years ago (another one of my surprises where he actually pays attention to the kawaii that I like).

Finally, there are the two Nemuneko figurines. I believe Nemuneko means "sleepy cat" in Japanese. From what I understand of the characters, they're basically lazy cats that sleep all the time, looking totally kawaii the whole time.

I actually had more stuff to post but I think this post is long enough. Don't want to reveal everything at once! Enjoy the kawaiiness kawaii lovers!

halloween kawaii overload

I trotted back home today after writing my International Business midterm (it went ok, could've been better. A lot of bullshitting on my part actually) and to my utter squeetastic delight, I found a HUGE package waiting for me.

I've been waiting for this package for 3 weeks and it's finally arrived!!! Here are the contents.

Three tiny usazukin keychain plushes.

Large usazukin plushes with an adorable baby pumpkin.

Display of all the usazukins that I purchased. They're my first usazukins!

Halloween Kapibarasan set, all frolicking around the tiny pumpkin patch.

Adorable (but tiny, I expected it to be way bigger) Kapibarasan tote with two fruit kapibarasan keychain plushes.

Devil usazukin with devil HK, guarding dem kit kats.
Be jealous. Baby pumpkins were not part of the my super duper kawaii package, they were gifts from Alex's mom.
