belated valentine's day wishes & small tony moly purchases

Happy (late) Valentine's Day Everyone!

From two grumpy dogs

I can't believe it's already been a week since my sister arrived! That was one of the fastest weeks I've experienced in a long time. It's probably because since she arrived, we've been literally going out every day because family/friends wanted to celebrate the New Year with her (and us).

She left Wednesday evening ヘ(゜Д、゜)ノ. The week was such a blur and it was really nice to spend time with her and laugh/giggle over everything. Unfortunately, we were so busy that we didn't even have time to do our Super Smash Bros. Brawl team battle rituals. My sister and I used to play SSB together all the time, we would always be on the same time and we'd get super hyper. I now do it with my brother, which is just as fun, but it's not the same. My brother always kills me once at least every round for starters.

Anyway, my family and I went for dim sum one morning and my sister and I stumbled upon a Korean cosmetic shop. It was pretty small but my sister and I spent so much time in there. We couldn't figure out what to buy! Actually, it was more like, we couldn't figure out what not to buy. But we were rushed by our parents because the parking meter was running out.

Adorable Tony Moly bag.

I love paper bags. I don't know why, maybe because hardly any uses them anymore because they're so impractical but I'm always thrilled when shops put my purchases in paper bags instead of plastic ones. I also love the crinkly noise they make ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ.

Tony Moly Purchases.

I ended up buying the bunny lip gloss and the dodo rose perfume stick. The lip gloss is the colour that I've wanted to buy for the longest time but it's alway sold out, probably because it's the nicest one. Annnnd, they were both on sale (☆^O^☆)! But it still ended costing me almost $20 (damn you Quebec tax 凸(`⌒´メ)!).

Dodo Rose Perfume Stick

I had previously seen these before but never really took the 5 seconds to read the product description. For some unexplainable reason, I took the 5 seconds this time around and was instantly curious to know what the hell is a perfume stick. It's literally what it sounds like (duh, but I honestly thought it was a marketing ploy for naming deodorant differently), it's basically a bar of nice smelling...wax(?) and you apply it on wherever you want yourself to smell nice. The salesgirl told me that instead of applying the bar directly to desired-nice smelling area, she rubs the bar on her fingers and then rubs it onto to her neck or wherever. Otherwise, it leaves a really weird feeling because it's all smudged and...waxy.

Side.
I was really torn between two smells for the Hello! Bunny perfume stick. So torn that I consulted every one who was with me (my sister, mom and even my brother). Such as it were, every one told me to get a different one. This is an indecisive person's nightmare, when you can't make a decision, you ask someone else to do it for you, and they all tell you to do something different (。┰ω┰。). Usually in situations like this, I just buy both but since I shouldn't be spending too frivolously, I chose the one that looked nicer.

Hello! Bunny Perfume Sticks Available.

I couldn't decide between the pink and the purple one. The smell was similar but the pink was stronger than the purple one. They also had the whole set for $55.

Finally got my hands on this.

As I mentioned, I had been wanting to get this particular colour in forever but every time I check, it's always sold out! Either that, or it's super expensive. Lucky was definitely on my side that when they actually had it AND it was one sale! Only $5! ヘ( ̄ω ̄ヘ)

Colour and smells.

Apparently, they smell like something but I never noticed. I have the apple (#3) and cherry ones (#4) as well.

To finish the post, here are some adorable behind the scenes pictures of Obi and Kami who were really  uncooperative while I was trying to take a good Valentine's Day picture of them.

Valentine's Day Pick of Kawaii Plushes.

Whenever there's a holiday coming up, I always try to take some pictures with some related theme kawaii for my blog. The plush my sister got me is obviously perfect for Valentine's day so I knew I had to get Obi to sit still long enough to take a picture with it. But while I was prepping Obi for his photoshoot, Kami followed along (they're inseparable).

Scruffles in my office/spare bedroom.

After some playtime and scruffles, they both finally calmed down a bit where I can take some photos. I wasn't able to, however, separate them so I took a photo with both of them in it.

Tah-da! ヾ(^∇^)ノ゙

Upon seeing the end result, I realized I could make a DOUBLY kawaii Valentine's day photo. But I couldn't, at the top of my head, think of another kawaii plush to use for Kami to hold. Luckily, I didn't need to think too hard since I spotted my super duper adorable Homekoro plush on my desk. It was kismet. It's too bad I didn't have an akita plush but Homekoro is more than cute enough. Side note: Homekoro was actually the plush that triggered my kawaii obsession in February 2011.

Unfortunately, getting both dogs to sit in the same position plus a Homekoro plush wasn't really working out as easy so I thought it'd be. Every time Kami moved, Obi would get up and start licking her face (something he does ALL the time). After a lot of "No, sit, stay...OBI! KAMI!" they both decided to flee from the crazy lady brandishing the camera.

On the alert for intruders.

They both headed for the living room, where I unrelentingly followed them (while clutching the two plushes and my trusty camera). After they were both done growling and starting at the window, I had them hold onto the plushes again.

After much patience (from all of us), I finally got a picture that I was somewhat pleased with. Obi looked really stiff in the picture but for some reason, he wasn't willing to die down. Kami looks like a natural, and she was pretty good with not biting the plush (it's my first time having her take photos with my plush).

Tired puppies after a long photoshoot.

Look at Kami cuddling with Homekoro! (人´∀`*)

[edit]
Are my headers working? Because they aren't working whenever I check my blog ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ

[edit...again]
Ok, never mind, it works now. It didn't work because I forgot to put a " in the code. Can you believe it didn't work because of that tiny little thing? Aaaaaah, coding.
