sasa beauty haul

I ordered some beauty items from the global beauty and makeup distributor, Sasa, they finally arrived on Monday, yay!

Those of you who know me know that I'm not a makeup person, I'm too lazy and clueless about these things. Concealer? Foundation? Face powder? It's all the same to me.  Putting on makeup for me is lipgloss and if you're really special, mascara.

But beauty items are another story. I like to take care of my skin, which is why I have so many skincare products. When Alex told me that he wanted to buy cleanser, I suggested he try out the one I leave at his house. He liked it so I placed an order with Sasa, they had a special shipping promotion where you receive free shipping if you buy $29 worth of items.

So I bought these.

Holika Holika Premium Sheep Milk Yogurt with Wild Berry.

What a long name. They had a green tea scented one too. I actually wanted to buy the green tea one since I'm not crazy about the smell of berries but when I actually opened the jar, it has a very nice and subtle raspberry smell to it. I'm glad I was forced to get this one instead.

Both versions.

Green Tea Version.

The reason I ended up getting the wild berry one was because Sasa didn't sell the green tea one anymore. When I checked last month, they still had the green tea, but I guess it wasn't popular enough or something so they stopped selling it...I don't know.

Back with instructions. Don't eat it regardless of how yummy it smells.

Top view.

I really like the top of the seal. It's so pretty and it gives you the impression that it's a really expensive product (which it isn't).

Contents.

I was really surprised at how smooth the cream was. I was expecting it to be really thick and googey. I have previously used a Burt's Bees cow milk and almond butter (or something like that) and it was so thick. I was expecting something similar to that but I guess sheep's milk is smoother or something.

Hello Kitty Charcoal Mint Face Wash.

Lately, I've been obsessed with the idea of using charcoal as a face wash. Apparently, it's really good for your skin, believe it or not, and I've been looking for a cheap product to use as a test. I found this and I knew I had to get it because:
  1. It's mint, I love mint like there's no tomorrow. Even if it's to put on my face, so refreshing.
  2. It's charcoal.
  3. Inexpensive.
  4. It's Hello Kitty.
  5. My order needed to be over $29 for free shipping.

It's almost like it was fate.

Sticker View.

Back View.

The instructions are all in Japanese but I will assume that face wash is used the same all over the world. The cute pictures also help.

I noticed at the bottom it says that the product is only to be sold in Japan. I feel like I'm part of an exclusive club  (´ω`★).

Product View.

Notice that the actual face wash is black since it's charcoal. Pretty cool, huh?

C+M 3-in-1 Hydrating Cleansing Gel.

I've been using this product since last August. I bought it last summer because it was really cheap and my sister had bought one too. We figured that if it's bad, it's not that big of a loss because it's only $2.50. It turns out that it's really good! As the name says, it's a 3-in-1 so it's a cleanser, toner and moisturizer.

Instructions.

After using this, my skin feels really clean and soft. But sometimes, it does leave my skin feeling a little tight and dry.

Alpaca Water Bag.

Last but not least is this adorable little water bag ♡o。.(✿ฺ。 ✿ฺ). I had a brain fart and totally forgot the proper name for this. I've been trying to remember the name of this for ever since I received my package and it's just not coming.

Instructions.

I've been meaning to get one of these for a while because I get stomach aches and cramps every once in a long while. Hopefully, I won't have to use it any time soon but if I do, at least I'll have a cute little alpaca soothing my stomach pains.

On another note, I made my first sale yesterday from my shop! Yaaaaaay! Hopefully, they'll be more to come. If you haven't already, please check out my store!

I'll do proper reviews for these items only if readers ask for it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend every one!
