Super long time no see! A lot of people have been asking me to blog about my wedding plans and I honestly have had very little to time to chronicle the planning but I do have some pictures from one event related to my wedding. Although it wasn't me that was doing the planning, it was the wonderful people I'm lucky to have in my life that did all the work.

Wow, it's been a long time! A lot has happened since my last update and I'll really quickly go over everything but the main gist of this post is to show my appreciation to Stitch. He's so adorable and what's great about this particular little alien is that he starts off as a total jerk and then he becomes a much better person/alien/dog.

weekend of big surprises (disney world trip!) pt 2

Continuing from my previous post, Alex and I just finished The Magic Kingdom and we were on our way to Hollywood Studios.

We took the Disney shuttle there and it was pretty packed because I think the bus was late or one of them didn't show up. Alex and I were standing in the front next to the bus driver. Thankfully, the ride wasn't too long so it wasn't bad.

tsum tsum collection

Happy very late New Year everyone! It's been extremely hectic on my end with the renovations and the move. Our new place needed tons of work and since Alex works full time, we were only able to work during the weekends. I did whatever I could during the week but a lot of it required some degree of handymanship (which I do not have at all) so I needed to wait for Alex to do it.

There was also tons of waiting (we painted and coughed like crazy. I seriously wouldn't recommend you to paint/sand/varnish etc during the winter. It's HORRIBLE, I haven't been breathing properly since) since we need to paint a million coats and they needed to dry etc. 

Good news is it's READY! Finally, Alex and I are hosting a dinner this Sunday with both our families (will be crowded but oh well) and I'll have a post about our new place soon!

shop announcement (and apology for no posts)

Happy New Year everyone! I hope the beginning of 2015 has been good to you so far. I've been extremely busy with the renovations of our new place and of the course, that week and a half during the holidays is a good excuse as any not to do anything (I tried to do nothing but didn't really work out that way). 

This is just a short shop announcement, lame I know but I'll have a proper post hopefully today. If not today, then next week for sure.






Please also spread the word as many other Storenvy shop owners are having difficulties with Stripe. It's not the shop owners' fault as Storenvy decided to force everyone to have this system. We as store owners try our best to provide the best customer service and Stripe will slow everything down so please just pay by Paypal. Otherwise, we'll have to wait for the payment to be cleared and/or wait for Stripe to get involved which will take a long time and we cannot ship your package until then. Thank you for your time and understanding!

For those of you who didn't read it, it was my Gong Gong (grandfather) who bought me my first Nago and it's the only tangible item he ever bought me. For this reason, this character has great sentimental value to me.

Hey everyone so I arrived home from Australia on November 21st. Australia is beautiful with gorgeous weather and it was just a breath of fresh air. For 3 weeks, I didn't think about work and was completely stress free!

sailor moon banpresto compact mirrors

Back in July, I had ordered the compact mirrors released by Banpresto to celebrate Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary.

I actually only wanted one of them (ok two) and you got more a of a bargain if you bought all three. I thought that I'd be able to sell the one(s) rather easily but it turns out, not to much ⊙︿⊙

At first, I had planned on keeping the Luna and Artermis one but the more I looked at the mirrors, the more I like the Queen Serenity one! So I had planned on keeping two but I already have so much stuff so in the end, I settled for just Queen Serenity. A small success story of me trying to declutter my life a bit.

Otakuthon 2014 Purchases

I went to our local anime convention again this year, like I have been doing for the past 2 years with my good friend Suzy. I normally buy a weekend pass and let my sister use it (sssshhhhhh) when I'm done going to the con but this year, my family went to NYC for a few days so I'm the only one going.

Like last year, I put myself on a budget  and I toured the whole seller's area before decided on what to buy. I'm super happy with all my purchases!

cpa, cma results

As some of you know, I've been working towards getting my Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (previously known as Certified Management Accountant - CMA. They changed in half way through my program).

Well, the letters were mailed out on Wednesday and I received mine on Thursday. My mom had called me during the day and told me the letter arrived. For the rest of the day, all I could think of was whether the letter offered congratulations or commiseration.

Small post today, but I just found out that San-x made a mini line of travel accessories. I love the little see-through pouches and those compact mirrors are to die for. The compact toothbrush is a nifty idea but I always bring whatever toothbrush I'm currently using and just put it in a zip-lock bag, nothing fancy but I don't see the point of taking a brand new toothbrush for just travelling. It'll take me years to completely use it up (and it'd probably stink).
